Lightening fast action, intense game play and incredible athletic ability characterize this traditional native game.
Amateur lacrosse players put their skills to the test as they vie for provincial titles in the categories of agility, shooting accuracy, hardness shot and breakaways. Goalies will also be challenged as they strut their goal tending abilities against rival shooters.
This event was brought together to share the game of lacrosse. Being hosted as part of the Canadian Aboriginal Festival, it gives all lacrosse participants the opportunity to experience a great lacrosse challenge, meet new people and most importantly learn about the origin of game and the people it came from. Lacrosse participants are welcome to bring their families along to enjoy a great day.
Powless Lacrosse along with the Canadian Aboriginal Festival welcome all lacrosse centres, players, and families to attend this great event. It is an opportunity to enjoy a mutual love of lacrosse, strengthen friendship in the game and experience the journey of lacrosse. Come and enjoy the day, it is an event you won't want to miss!
